I am typing this from kfc pudu. Thank goodness kfc has wifi which is actually pretty good! =P
aiyo.. after all that procrastination and pampering myself with extra sleep here I am wishing that I had gotten here earlier. =P
Pudu is a mad, mad house!!
Met YZhuan at pudu, she said it was an extended weekend and all the tickets for tomorrow were sold out already. Almost the same case for tickets today la. I hate pudu with all the touts. =(
Finally finally with a stroke of luck I managed to get a ticket to AS at 2.30pm. Phew.. Jelita bus which is well-known for its ability to fly. Bus can fly? Means can go very fast like flying la.
It's a seat at the bottom deck. I'm slightly paranoid I'll end up in a little cabin full of dark, big, scary men. Oh the horrors of being a girl travelling alone. And I cross my fingers and hope that the bus will have plenty of people heading to Alor Star. I was once on a bus where almost all passengers got off at SP. Ugh. Oh the horrors of being a girl travelling alone at night.
And I cross my fingers and hope that the bus comes on time and I can managed to get on the right bus what with the madhouse state pudu is in today. Oh the horrors of my country's transport system.
I just knew about the China Sichuan quake yesterday. Me katak under my tempurung of exams for the past 4 days. It's so sad.
On another note, it made me think. Why do we regard human life as so precious? Don't get me wrong, my heart goes out to all the victims and their loved ones. The scenes of devastation look so artificial, yet are so real. What I mean is that everyone dies someday, some time. The living grieve, but time heals. Then again when I narrow the context down to my own self, I never ever want my loved ones to die. All my general prayers begin with good health for my parents and family first. But I don't really mind if I die lo. Seriously. I don't mind that much.
This post is crap. I'm typing all my thoughts as they come in. In no particular order and coherency. Somehow typing it down makes me understand myself better.
Time to catch my bus. Taaz!!
