One day I will

One day I will:
bake pretty pies and cakes with pink and white icing.
cook so beautifully people would cry when they eat my creations.
mould clay on a potter's wheel with my bare hands.. preferably to a haunting melody and a ghost in the background.
paint.
have a collection of swarovski crystal teddy bear figurines.

try cannabis.

So there. One more thing to add to my to-do dream list.

I really want to try cannabis. At least once. I was so intrigued when Prof YPN told us about how during her uni days, her friends would grow cannabis in pots in their hostels. Like how you would grow cili padi in a pot next to the kitchen window. It's the tip of the flowering shoots which are used- the buds and young leaves and the end stem. Cannabis seem really nice. Just the right amount of happiness without the ugly complications of addiction. Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) is too intense for the senses; people kill themselves after bad trips. Heroin or morphine on a water pipe sounds lazily relaxing... But the addiction that comes with it is very, very ugly.

Amsterdam here we come. hehe.


They say when you find God you are overcome by this burst of EUPHORIA.
Saint Teresa of Avila described the 'devotion of ecstasy or rapture' as the last stage of union with God in her autobiography. 'It is a glorious bewilderment, a heavenly madness'.
The purpose of bhakti yoga is to be one with God and in that experience, you are supposed to experience such joy and love and peace like never before.
So is the aim of Buddhist meditation.

It makes me wonder, how is it that LSD can do all that too?
It's just a thought.

And I shall sleep.
